Wade Miley with another quality start

Posted by

Wade Miley pitched another quality start in today’s 5-4 win against Arizona.

He allowed three runs on six hits, walking two batters and punching out three through six innings of work. In the first five, he looked unstoppable on the mound. His pitching pace is so fast,  which could make you wonder if that had anything to do with his downturn in the sixth inning where he allowed a few runs and more baserunners.

For the year so far, he has a 2.70 ERA with 7 K’s in 10 innings of work.

If you put this game up and compare it to his season debut, he looked like an all-star today. If Miley keeps up his good work, he could turn into the signing that the Cubs will not regret.
