2016 will always be the year that Cubs fans look back on as the glory days of Cubs baseball. We will always think of that Wednesday night in Cleveland when the Cubbies won game 7 of the World Series and ended the 108-year championship drought and brought the trophy home to Chicago.
Today 5 years ago, the Cubs defeated the Dodgers at Wrigley Field to advance to the World Series against the Cleveland Indians.
The only thing better to see than the Cubs winning the National League Pennant was seeing the Cubs win the 2016 World Series and break the longest championship drought in sports history.
