Blackhawks @ Capitals Preview

Posted by

The Blackhawks have their first match in December against the red hot Washington Capitals. Washington is holding a record of 14-4-5 so far on the year, and they have what could be the Hart Memorial winner in Alex Ovechkin, who is one of the greatest goal scorers of all time.

Fleury is in the net tonight against the Caps, and he will have a challenge against the team with the most goals scored so far in the NHL.

It is definitely safe to say that the Hawks have struggled tremendously on offense so far this year, and guys like Patty Kane and Kirby Dach could really step it up and allow for some more offensive production. Jonathan Toews has yet to put a puck in the net so far this year, and is still looking for that first goal.

This is for sure a challenge for the Blackhawks, as they have some pretty tough opponents coming up soon. I just want to see them play well. They really need to find ways to score, and take every opportunity they can get to put the puck in the net. Pass the puck well, find your teammates and just play hard. If the Hawks can just play competitive hockey and win a couple of hard-fought games, this team isn’t out of the playoff hunt yet. They obviously haven’t played to their full potential yet, so if the Hawks can just compete, I will be happy.
